on sunday august 22nd, 2o10 isaiah was baptized

seth and pastor chris baptized him

seth prayed for him and he said he was super emotional

i was too

it is so amazing watching your baby who you love

make this choice on their own

to make a public profession of their faith and love for jesus christ

it was a great moment

isaiah we are so proud of the choices you have made

and the boy that you are,

your heart for the Lord is truly amazing.
we love you so much!

happy 6th birthday smooshie!!....

**happy birthday my shweet shweet smoosh** i can' t believe it has been 6 years since our last baby was born.

you have been such a blessing to all of our lives.

for your 6th birthday i am going to write 6 things that we love about our smooshie.

1. you are still and will always be " smooshie". you have turned into your nickname. so many people don't ever even call you by your real name. we love it. i wonder how much longer it will last :)

2. you are so funny!! you love to make people laugh and you love being the class clown.

3. you have what we like to call "smooshie reasons" it's kind of your own set of rules that you make along the way in life (usually for your benefit). they are hysterical.

4. you adore your brothers, but even though you are the youngest you don't let them boss you around. alot of times you are the boss.

5. you still love to cuddle. especially when you wake up in the morning. one of my favorite things ever with you these past 6 years has been cuddling you with your crazy hair every.single.morning!

6. you run, jump, hop, or skip every where you go. i think you need to make a "smooshie workout and diet" video and we would all be skinny :) you move all the time, and snack all day. i get tired just watching you . :)

camping carpinteria 2010..

**carpinteria 2010**

we took our annual family vacation to carpinteria state beach with some our closest family and friends. we had an amazing week with beautiful weather and amazing people.

this year we did a decorating contest.
it was super fun.
we won for "best use of theme throughout the campsite"

alicia did a craft day with the kids and smoosh made a head band :)

hume lake..

one of our favorite places ever is hume lake.

every summer for the past 5 years our dear friends have graciously

offered us an invite to their cabin.

this year we drove up on tj's bday.

he wasn't too thrilled about spending 5 hours of his

bday in the car but when we got their krisitin

had made him a cake and he was all smiles.

our first day there the kids swam out to the jumping rock.

one day isaiah bought a canvas and painted by the lake.
he's so artsy :)

we had smore's by the fire with friends

ofcourse, we had some pool time

this was the first year that zas was old enough

to do 'the blob'....ummmm..he won't be doing that

again. look how hight he got.

and when he landed it was right on his stomach :(

he really enjoyed the swing.

i think he'll stick to that :)

**happy birthday tanner**in honor of your 8th birthday i wanted to list 8 wonderful things about you.

i love you so much and i am so happy that God blessed our family with you.

1) you are so funny. alot of people don't know this about you but you have the best sense of humor and are always making us laugh.

2) you are a great friend. you care about your friends and their feelings deeply. i think this is pretty special for an 8 yr. old boy

3) you LOVE LOVE LOVE to wrestle dad. gigi gave you the nickname 'violent victor' cause you love to wrestle so much. dad will just give you a look and you know it is on.

4) you love to swim, play soccer, draw, read, play video games, and run. you are awesome in all you do.

5) you love to play video games. your favorites right now are guitar hero and super mario bros. you would play all day if i let you (but i don't). you look just like papa when you play guitar hero, it is so cute :)

6) you still love to cuddle. you have loved to cuddle since you were a baby. i hope you never outgrow it. i love it. you are definatley our cuddle bug.

7) you are shy but you are still confident and can stand up for yourself. i really admire this about you.

8) your brother's are your best friends. you guys really do have a very special relationship. i hope it lasts forever.

4th of july...

***4th of july***

we celebrated the 4th with our annual block party.

alot of family and friends joined us and it was a blast!!

the weather was perfect, not too hot, but warm enough for the kids

to be on the waterslide ALL day!!

happy 4th of july everyone!!

bachelorette party!........

my good friend caitlin is getting married in a month.

caitlin and i have been friends since we were 12 years old.

i love this girl and am so happy that she found the man of her dreams.of course we had to take her for a night out before the big day!

so a group of us got her dressed up, rented a limo, went to dinner, went to a piano bar, and ended the night dancing the night away.

we had SUCH a good time.
most of these girls i also met when i was 12,
some even as young as 7, and a few are new friends.
i love these girls and love spending time with him.
it is always so much fun.
